* Remember that the organization does not offer guided tours in canyons or any other activity carried out in rough terrain, so any activity outside the event venue is optional and you must assume the personal and non-transferable risk of doing it.

The “PHOTO CONTEST” will take place during RIC Mexico 2024 thanks to the support of Deporte Habitat, the Outdoor Community Store, Photoutdoor Photography and The Adventure Photographers.

✅ THE JURY of this Photo Contest will be made up of Luis Olivares (Deporte Hábitat), Carlos Hernández (Photoutdoor) and Stephanie Espinosa (Colegio de Biólogos de México), in addition to Charlotte Workman and Steve Small (The Adventure Photographers), winners of the 2023 Ric2023.CAT Photo Contest.

– Biodiversity / Flora and Fauna
– Sports / Canyoning Action
– Group interaction / Social
– Landscape / Environment

From these categories the jury will choose the BEST PHOTO OF THE EVENT.

♣ THE RULES for participation are as follows:
– The photo contest will take place from 1 to 9 November 2024.
– Only people registered in the RIC MEXICO who have a ‘RIC MEXICO ID’ can participate.
– Each RIC participant may participate in more than one category.
– There is no limit to the number of photos per participant.
– Participants must upload their photos through the official form (access available upon arrival at the event).
– Images will be received and evaluated from the beginning of the RIC MEXICO (November 1st at 9:00 hrs) until November 9th at 12:00 hrs.
– The images will be shared at the end of RIC MEXICO through our social networks.
– Elegant and subtle edits are welcome without losing the essence of the photograph.
– The photograph must be the original work of the participant and must not infringe on the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
– The photograph must not contain any sexually explicit, derogatory, defamatory, libelous, libelous, obscene or other inappropriate content.
– Each photographer will retain the copyright of his or her photographs, granting the right of publication to RIC MEXICO.
– All participating images will be disseminated and shared through RIC MEXICO’s social networks.
– In the event that the photograph contains a portrait of a person, the participant will be responsible for having the express authorisation of the person portrayed in order to use and publish the photograph.
